Aruba is a small Caribbean island with Dutch origin just 18 miles off the northern coast of Venezuela.  The beaches are marvelous and the water pristine!  Far enough south to miss the rains that hit most of the Caribbean, Aruba enjoys warm weather all year round - most months have a low of about 77 degrees F and a high of around 90 degrees F.  It is a relatively arid island with little precipitation, making for warm, dry vacations!  Most tourism is on the west and southern coasts, protected from the heavy currents from the east.  We stayed at the  Aruba Marriott on Palm Beach, just a few miles from the airport and capital.  You will be amazed at how clean, safe, efficient and friendly everything, everywhere and everyone is in Aruba, which makes it a perfect destination for families too!
